June 13, Saturday, 3-4:30 PM Level 1 Workshop

 

By now you've heard about kettlebells.  It is the latest and the

greatest and it will give you the physique that you want and

the strength and athleticism that you desire.  It is that simple. 

And true.  But not easy.  It is work.  Life-changing, mind-

blowing, ass-busting kind of work.  Not watching CNN on the

treadmill or doing bicep curls on a bosu.

gym rat persona, or if you're a complete novice committed to

The workshop will be taught by Cecilia Tom, RKC, the

wickedly exacting Hard Style kettlebell instructor featured in

the June 2008 "Best Of" issue of San Francisco 7x7 Magazine. 

With this simple strength tool, Cecilia will introduce basic 

concepts and exercises used by Russian Special Forces, the

US Secret Service, law enforcement, elite athletes, and

celebrities like Penelope Cruz and Katherine Heigl to achieve

superior cardiovascular conditioning, core strength, and

enhanced athleticism.  If you're sick of slow, boring,

ineffective "cardio" on the treadmill or weight machines that

produce little functional carryover, kettlebells will open your

eyes (and hips!) to a whole new world of intelligent movement

and strength training.   

 

It is highly advisable that you arrive at the workshop with a

reasonably empty stomach.  Those who survive will be

eligible to participate in our regularly scheduled classes.  Our

workshops are open to men and women of any age, shape or

size with no existing injuries who sincerely wish to learn life-

enhancing strength skills through hard work and dedicated
